Huddersfield Town Head Coach Carlos Corberán is expecting a difficult game when his side travel to face Millwall at the Den on Wednesday 16 March 2022.
Speaking to the press in his virtual press conference, Carlos discussed what the upcoming fixture.
“We know that our upcoming games will demand the best from us in defence and attack.
“Every Championship team demands you of this, and the table and results show that week by week.
“Millwall are a team that are competing really well.
“It was hard for us to beat them last time – we got it in the end through a set piece from Hoggy.
“I’m expecting the game to be very difficult.”
The Terriers go into the game off the back of a 2-2 draw against West Bromwich Albion on Friday 11 March 2022. Town’s Head Coach commented on the atmosphere around the training ground following the Baggies’ late comeback.
“It’s been positive.
“We know that this is part of football and will learn from this type of situation.
“The Championship is a long season with many types of games.
“We need to learn from this and prevent it for the future.
“West Brom’s second goal affected us, and we needed a little bit of time to adapt.
“After that, we reacted well and created a counterattack and a couple of chances from set pieces.”
Town’s Head Coach also provided the latest injury update.
“Fortunately, we have the same players available as we did at West Bromwich Albion.
“Carel Eiting is going to try to train today because he had a problem with his foot, which didn’t allow him to make normal training.
“Depending on how he trains today, he could be available.
“Josh Koroma has completed normal training, so he will be one of the options we have.”
