Huddersfield Town First Team to participate in pre-season training camp at St. George’s Park

As part of our preparations for the 2022/23 Sky Bet Championship season, we’ll be travelling to St. George’s Park to complete a four-day training camp in July 2022.
On top of scheduled work at our Canalside training ground and several friendly fixtures – more of which are to be announced in due course – the First Team will make the trip to the home of our national side in Burton Upon Trent to complete a four-day camp.
Built in 2012 for £105 million, St. George’s Park is set across 333-acres of Staffordshire countryside and is home to all 27 of England’s national teams. The facility boasts 13 outdoor pitches, a full-size indoor 3G pitch, a suite of rehabilitation and sports science areas, an indoor Futsal sports hall and on-site Hilton hotel.
Taking advantage of the state-of-the-art facilities that will accommodate for all on-field, gym based and performance work, the trip will allow the side a concentrated period together ahead of the 2022/23 campaign, giving the First Team staff across all disciplines the opportunity to conduct all the sessions and meetings they deem necessary.
Having already announced friendly fixtures away from home on Saturday 16 July 2022 at Harrogate Town and Saturday 23 July 2022 at Bolton Wanderers, the squad will be looking to be in the best condition possible ahead of the 2022/23 Sky Bet Championship season beginning over the weekend of 30 July 2022.
