A look at the Huddersfield Town players called for International Duty

- Eleven players across Town called-up
- Sorba Thomas receives Wales call-up
- Scott High gets Scotland U21 call-up

Here’s a look at the eleven Huddersfield Town players who have been selected by their nations for fixtures taking place in June.

Sorba Thomas - Wales

Town’s assist machine has received another international call-up with the Welsh squad.
Rob Page’s side will play five games in this break, with the most important being the Play-Off Final against either Ukraine or Scotland. The victor will earn a place at the World Cup in Qatar this winter. Thomas will be looking to continue his fine form from his Play-Off semi-final substitute performance to push for a place in the Welsh starting line-up.

Danel Sinani - Luxembourg

Town’s front man has once again been called by his nation to play in their upcoming Nations League games. Sinani will be looking to add to his 6 international goals with fixtures against Lithuania, Faroe Islands and Turkey coming up in June.

Brodie Spencer – Northern Ireland

Town’s Academy Player of the Year has been given his first international call-up for the Northern Ireland senior squad! 18-year-old Spencer will join Ian Baraclough’s side for their four Nations League group games with every chance of making his international debut for the Green and White Army.

Rolando Aarons – Jamaica

Aarons has been called up by the Jamaican FA for their CONCACAF Nations League fixtures playing two games against Suriname and one against Mexico. Rolando is yet to be capped by Jamaica so this call-up could see the Town winger make his International debut!

Giosue Bellagambi – Uganda

Town’s B Team ‘keeper Bellagambi has been called up by the Ugandan senior squad for the first time for their African Cup of Nations Qualifiers. The 20-year-old has enjoyed a loan stint at Brighouse this season gaining valuable first team experience, as well as appearing on the Town First Team bench.

Nicholas Bilokapic and Jacob Chapman – Australia U23

Our two young Australian goalkeepers have been selected for the Socceroos’ U23 squad to play in the U23 Asia Cup taking place in Uzbekistan this June. Bilokapic and Chapman have both been on loan this season each making their first team debuts. 19-year-old Bilokapic went to League Two side Hartlepool in January and Chapman to Gateshead for the first half of the campaign. Both ‘keepers will be competing against each other for the number one spot when Australia play Kuwait U23s in their opening game of the tournament.

Levi Colwill – England U21

Following his impressive season at the heart of the Town defence, Colwill has earnt himself a call-up with England’s U21 squad. The Young Lions have four UEFA U21 Qualifiers coming up, the last of which is being held at the John Smith’s Stadium against Slovenia U21s at a ground where Colwill has become a fan favourite over the last year.

Scott High – Scotland U21

Scott High has again been called up to represent Scotland’s U21s in the UEFA U21 Championship Qualifiers. Our academy graduate has made 23 appearances for Town in the league this season and has been a valuable member of the squad. High has featured in 5 out of the last 6 qualifiers so far and will be looking to add two more international caps to his name.

Pat Jones – Wales U21

Town’s young wide-man has earnt himself a call-up with the Wales U21 squad for their upcoming UEFA U21 Qualifiers. The Young Dragons will play twice at home against The Netherlands and Gibraltar with Jones looking to gain some valuable minutes for Paul Bodin’s side.

Connor Falls – Northern Ireland U19

Falls has been called up for the Northern Ireland U19 squad to play in their U19 European Championship Qualifiers. Northern Ireland currently sit in third place in their group, so striker Falls will be looking to help his side to qualify.
