Carlos Corberán’s First Team will play a friendly against Sky Bet League Two side Doncaster Rovers as part of their pre-season preparations!
The game will take place on Saturday 16 July 2022 at the Eco-Power Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 3pm. On the same day as our trip to North Yorkshire to face Harrogate Town at noon, the First Team squad will likely be split across both fixtures to allow for increased playing time across the entire group.

Led by Manager Gary McSheffrey, Doncaster finished the 2021/22 season in 22nd place in Sky Bet League One with 38 points from 46 games played, seeing them relegated to Sky Bet League Two.
Having taken B Team defender Ben Jackson on loan for the remainder of the season in January 2022, the South Yorkshire side have a couple of other familiar faces within their ranks – midfielder Adam Clayton played for Town between 2012-2014, with striker Jordy Hiwula having spent three years as a Terrier between 2015-2018.
Further games in the pre-season schedule will be confirmed throughout June.
