Academy midfielder Tom Iorpenda has signed his first professional contract today!
The 17-year-old has agreed a deal that will keep him at Huddersfield Town until the summer of 2025.
Tom used to be part of the Academy at Brighton & Hove Albion, being joining Town as part of the Club’s summer intake ahead of the 2021/22 season.
Tom made 22 appearances for George Danaher’s Under-17 side during the 2021/22 campaign, whilst also making 9 appearances for the Under-19s and one for the B Team.
Huddersfield Town’s B Team Coach, Jon Worthington, explained:
“Tom thoroughly deserves his first professional contract, which is a huge achievement for every aspiring young footballer.
“He’s enjoyed a really impressive first year at the Club, and this shows how far he’s already progressed in such a short time.
“He has a massive appetite to learn and improve, and everyone at the Club is looking forward to continuing their work with Tom.”
