Danny Schofield has selected his first starting side as permanent Head Coach of Huddersfield Town for tonight’s Sky Bet Championship opener against Burnley; 8pm kick-off at the John Smith’s Stadium!

10 of tonight’s starting players were a part of the squad that reached the Play-Off Final last season, with the exception being Rarmani Edmonds-Green.

The 23-year-old, who spent last season helping Rotherham United gain promotion out of Sky Bet League 1, starts upon his return tonight with Matty Pearson (foot injury) and Will Boyle (suspended) unavailable.

Josh Ruffels starts at left back this evening – it’s only his third league start for Town and his third in the second tier.

There are four potential debutants among tonight’s substitutes, which includes three summer recruits; Yuta Nakayama, David Kasumu and Jack Rudoni. 21-year-old Australian goalkeeper Jacob Chapman is the other.
