LOAN: REECE BROWN REJOINS PETERBOROUGH

31 January 2022

Midfielder returns to fellow Championship side

- Reece Brown departs Huddersfield Town on loan
- Attacking midfielder re-joins Peterborough United
- Loan will run until the end of the season

Huddersfield Town midfielder Reece Brown has re-joined fellow Sky Bet Championship side Peterborough United on loan.

The 25-year-old returns to the Posh for a third loan spell, following on from spells with the Club in 2020/21 and 2021/22.

Peterborough sit 22nd in the Sky Bet Championship table with 20 points from 27 games, two points from safety.

The attack-minded midfielder joined Town from Forest Green Rovers in the summer of 2019 and has made one competitive First Team appearance for the Club.

Reece’s contract at Town runs until the summer of 2022.

Head of Football Operations Leigh Bromby commented:

“We wish the best of luck to Reece as he joins Peterborough on loan. Although he hasn’t played for the First Team this season, he’s had a great attitude towards training and he deserves the opportunity to play minutes now at a Club he knows well.”
