Carel Eiting is delighted to be back at Huddersfield Town!
The Dutch international made 23 appearances for the Terriers during the 2020/21 season, contributing three goals and three assists in the process.
Speaking to HTTV, the 23-year-old was quick to comment on making the decision to return to HD1.
“I’m really excited to be here!
“I think it took maybe one day – when we made contact it all went very fast.
“I knew that I wanted to come back, and the Club wanted me, so it didn’t take long!”
Carel’s first spell with the Club saw him play without fans, something he admits he can’t wait to change this time round.
“I’m really, really excited!
“I can’t wait!
“That was also one of the main reasons why I wanted to come back to experience England with fans, but also especially Huddersfield with fans.”
Having played 19 games with RC Genk before the move, the Dutchman says he is ready to hit the ground running and contribute to the First Team squad.
“I’m very ready.
“I’ve played a lot of matches, so I’m fit.
“I’m feeling good and ready to help the team.
“I’ve heard a lot about the team and everybody getting along very well.
“It all sounds very positive.
“Hopefully in matches I can show a lot and help the team with my qualities.
“Together we can win matches.”
