All you need to know ahead of this evening’s game

It’s match day, so here’s everything you need to know ahead of Huddersfield Town’s game against Cardiff City.

Town welcome Cardiff City to the John Smith’s Stadium in their latest Sky Bet Championship game, hoping to extend their unbeaten run in all competitions to 16!

How to watch Town vs Cardiff City

Please note there are no cash turnstiles for home fans.

If you want to pay on the day, you need to buy a ticket from our Ticket Office and take it to the relevant gate.

Tickets for this evening’s game are priced at £5 for all age groups across all areas of the stadium.

Car parking

You can book parking in Town’s Gasworks Steel car park for home matchdays, priced at just £5 per car.

Turnstiles

As we’re expecting a bumper crowd this evening, we advise supporters to turn up earlier than normal.

Subsequently, the turnstiles will be opening at 6.30pm.

Covid Restrictions - Plan A

Following the government’s recent announcement that the country will return to ‘Plan A’, we can confirm that NHS COVID passes and/or negative lateral flow test results are no longer a requirement to enter our home games.

We would recommend that supporters continue to wear face masks in crowded and enclosed spaces where possible, where you may come into contact with people you do not normally meet.

Deliveree Street Food

Our Street Food Zone will be back this evening, providing you with an exciting selection of street food ahead of kick-off!

This evening’s vendors will be the ever-present Magic Rock truck and additional Heineken bar, alongside food from Burgers and Fries, Singing Pineapple Gourmet Dogs, Ashby’s Chicken and Coffee Punks, who are located next to the Community Hub!

Legend’s Bar

Legend’s bar will be open for you and your friends to meet ahead of kick-off.

The doors will open at 5.30pm and close at 10.30pm.

Golden Gamble

Huddersfield Town’s Golden Gamble draw will return for this evening’s game.

The first placed prize could win up to £1,000, with a runner-up prize worth 10% of the first-place prize. There is also a third prize of Tog24 merchandise to be worn.

Not only that, but if you buy five Golden Gamble tickets, you will get a free gold ticket, giving you the chance to win two seats in the Directors Box and a one course meal in the White Rose Club for Town’s game against Peterborough United on Friday 4 March 2022.

Tickets are available at £1 each online –CLICK HERE to buy yours - They will stay on sale until kick-off and upon purchasing your ticket, you will receive an email from the Promotions Department with your lucky numbers.

Tickets will also be available to buy inside and around the stadium on match day. You will be able to purchase from our Golden Gamble sellers using cash, or from the Stadium Store via card.

The draw will be broadcast at half time on social media.

The Terrier

The latest edition of Huddersfield Town’s match day programme ‘The Terrier,’ will be available this evening!

Today’s edition sees Jordan Rhodes discuss his return from injury, his relationship with Danny Ward and Fraizer Campbell, and the positive atmosphere around the Club.

Fans For Foodbanks

Fans For Foodbanks will be back at this evening's fixture!

Supporters can donate non-perishable items to the bins outside the Leisure Centre entrance, inside the Club shop, and inside the Community Hub.

The initiative supports The Welcome Centre and Batley Food bank.

Stadium Store

The stadium store will be open until the 7:45pm kick off on Wednesday, and open until after the final whistle.

This gives you plenty of time to have a browse and treat yourself to some new purchases!
