After former Town man Richard Stearman was shown a straight red card for a poor challenge on Lewis O’Brien after just three minutes, Carlos Corberán’s side had to stay patient to secure the three points.
A deflected strike from Duane Holmes with around quarter of an hour to go eventually broke the deadlock, and substitute Jordan Rhodes netted his first goal since returning to the Club as space opened up later in the game.
