Despite being the better side on the day, Town were unable to make their dominance count against a dogged Sheffield United side.
Having had a goal controversially chalked off by the referee toward the end of the first half after Jon Russell thought he had nodded the Terriers ahead, it was a frustrating point from a performance that definitely deserved more.
There were also a handful of potential penalty shouts for the Terriers, who were on the receiving end of some strong challenges from the opposition all afternoon.
With plenty of good football played despite the wet conditions and lack of score, the result now makes it 14 games unbeaten for Town in all competitions, with four clean sheets in a row.
