Huddersfield Town Head Coach Danny Schofield says that his side took away a fair point from their action-packed 2-2 draw with West Bromwich Albion on Saturday afternoon.

A first half Tino Anjorin brace put the Terriers ahead, but the Baggies Jed Wallace found a brace of his own to pull the visitor’s level.

Speaking post-match, Danny was quick to comment on what he made of the game.

“First and foremost, it was very competitive.

“I think a lot of dual actions, a lot of first and second balls, a lot of defending the box at times.

“I thought we started the game fantastically well, really aggressive on the front foot, Tino scored two outstanding goals.

“I think the manner and the moment in which we conceded the first swung the momentum a little bit. I think overall, probably a fair point.”

The game saw Town missing two of their more experienced players, but Schofield was pleased with their replacements rose to the occasion.

“Obviously missing these kind of players – Tom Lees from suspension, Jonathan Hogg with a little niggle which hopefully he won’t be too long – I think it’s always quite difficult to lose these players.

“The lads who came in, like Rarmani Edmonds-Green, I thought did outstanding. Jon Russell in that midfield area, I thought he had an excellent game.

“We have these players who are ready and ready to take the opportunity when it arises.”

Town’s Head Coach also took the time to comment on Anjorin’s stand-out performance.

“Tino is a quality player.

“Now it’s just continuing to work with Tino, build his fitness levels, because he can impact games like he did today.”
