Tino Anjorin was pleased with his goals against West Brom but admitted disappointment in allowing the away side back into the game.

“I was delighted with the goals I scored” he said. “I thought we did well as a team, but we’re disappointed to concede in that situation.

“Delighted with the first half, but second half we let them get back into the game.”

Discussing the goals he scored, Anjorin admitted that his first was probably the best finish of his career to date and winning the ball back high up the field for the second is something he’s been trying to add to his game.

“I had a feeling it was going in when I first hit it! I was delighted, it was probably the best goal I’ve scored in my career so far.

“I’m always practicing finishing in training and after the sessions. Even in the off season with my dad and my trainer we practiced finishing, finishing, finishing so I can get goals this season.

“It’s paying off so far!

“They sat off me for the second so I saw the opportunity and saw the gap in the goal so I decided to shoot and scored.

“The pressing is definitely a side to my game.

“The defensive side is definitely something I need to work on a little bit more if I’m being honest with myself, but I’m definitely working hard at the training ground to improve on that and the finishing, and I’ll keep working on it.”
