Carlos Corberán makes three changes to the starting side

- Huddersfield Town side named to face Middlesbrough
- Head Coach Carlos Corberán has made three changes to the team
- Sarr starts as Ward and Colwill missing through injury

Huddersfield Town Head Coach Carlos Corberán has made three changes to the starting line-up for today’s Sky Bet Championship game against Middlesbrough; 12.30pm kick-off at the Riverside Stadium.

Corberán is forced into two of the changes, with both Levi Colwill (hip) and Danny Ward (hamstring) missing out with injury. Danel Sinani is the third change, with the Norwich City loanee among the substitutes this afternoon.

As a result, Naby Sarr starts his first Sky Bet Championship game of 2022 this afternoon. He’s joined in the XI by Jordan Rhodes, who spent a year as a Middlesbrough player between 2016 and 2017, and former Spain Under-21 international Pipa.

The two vacated spaces in the match day 18 are taken by Josh Ruffels and Scott High, who are both substitutes today.

Having made his 300th competitive appearance for the Club on Friday evening, Jonathan Hogg – who was born in Middlesbrough and started his career in the Boro Academy – makes his 300th Sky Bet Championship start today.

Sorba Thomas is making his 50th Sky Bet Championship appearance.

As well as Rhodes and Hogg, substitute goalkeeper Jamal Blackman has also been on the books of today’s opposition – he spent time on loan at the Riverside from Chelsea in 2014/15, making one League Cup start.

Alongside Colwill and Ward, Corberán is without Ryan Schofield (shoulder), Matty Pearson (knee), and Álex Vallejo (knee).
