Huddersfield Town finish their Easter run of games in the Sky Bet Championship fixture with Middlesbrough at Riverside Stadium on Monday 18 April; 12:30pm kick-off.

Town come into the game unbeaten in their last three games, including a 2-2 draw with QPR on Friday evening.

Middlesbrough also come into the game off the back of a draw, a 0-0 draw with high flying AFC Bournemouth on Friday evening.

THE OPPOSITION

Middlesbrough currently occupy the seventh spot of the Championship table with 63 points from 41 games.

With Play-Off places within reach for Boro, Chris Wilder will be looking to push his players even harder to get into that top six.

Middlesbrough will also be looking to build on their 2-1 victory over Town at the John Smith’s Stadium back in November 2021.

ONES TO WATCH

Joe Lumley

Lumley joined Middlesbrough on a two-year deal ahead of the 2021/22 season. The 27-year-old’s first season with the Club has seen him make 34 league starts, keeping 12 clean sheets in the process.

Duncan Watmore

Watmore initially signed a short-term contract with Boro in November 2020. Following five goals in his first eight appearances, and being named Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month for December 2020, the striker committed his future to Middlesbrough with a two-and-a-half year contract. This season has seen the 28-year-old score seven goals in 38 appearances, including two against Town in the reverse fixture in November 2021.

Folarin Balogun

The 20-year-old became the third January 2022 signing for Middlesbrough as he was sent on loan from Premier League side Arsenal until the end of the season. In the 15 games he has played for Boro so far, Balogun has scored three goals and assisted a further two goals. The striker is already known for his speed, trickery, and finishing, and will be sure to test the Terriers on Monday.
