A superb away performance heralded a first ever three points for Town at Middlesbrough’s Riverside Stadium on Easter Monday – and you can watch the highlights now on HTTV!
Carlos Corberán’s side fully deserved the win in the early afternoon, and never looked back after taking the lead late in the first half.
That came through another set piece situation, with Jordan Rhodes doing brilliantly to meet Sorba Thomas’ back-post delivery and knock the ball across for big defender Naby Sarr to nod home his second goal in three games.
The final goal came in the second half, with Ollie Turton and Pipa combining to rob the hosts of the ball before finding Lewis O’Brien, who released Rhodes into space. The striker made no mistake, curling the ball around the goalkeeper on his left foot in superb style.
