ROUND-UP: SINANI PROVIDES ASSIST FOR LUXEMBOURG

Town players feature for their respective nations during this international break

- Danel Sinani got eighth minute assist for Luxembourgh
- Conor Falls made Northern Ireland Under-19 debut
- Games still to be played

A total of four Huddersfield Town players across Academy and First Team level could represent their national teams over the September international break.

Midfielder Danel Sinani earnt his 35th Luxembourg cap in their 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Azerbaijan on Wednesday 1 September 2021. Luxembourg won the game 2-1, with Sinani providing the assist for their first goal in the eighth minute!

Luxembourg’s next qualifier is against Serbia on Saturday 4 September; 5pm UK kick-off.

They also have an international friendly against Qatar on Tuesday 7 September; 7.45 UK kick-off.

Under-19s forward Conor Falls made his Northern Ireland Under-19 debut in their 1-0 win over the Faroe Islands on Wednesday 1 September 2021.

Falls came on as a 67th minute substitute and was on the receiving end of the foul that got Northern Ireland their 94th minute penalty winner!

Fellow Northern Ireland Under-19s compatriot Brodie Spencer was an unused substitute, but may make his debut in their second game against the Faroe Islands on Friday 3 September; 3pm kick-off.

Levi Colwill could make his England Under-21 debut against Romania on Friday 3 September; 7pm UK kick-off.

The defender could also feature in England’s UEFA U21 Euro qualifier against Kosovo on Tuesday 7 September; 7pm kick-off. You’ll be able to watch that game live on Sky Sports!
