Isaac Mbenza has today departed Huddersfield Town after the Club and player came to an agreement to terminate his contract.

The 25-year-old’s contract with the Terriers was due to run until the conclusion of the current 2021/22 campaign, but both parties have agreed a settlement that sees the Belgian winger depart the Club immediately.

Mbenza joined Town from French Ligue 1 side Montpellier, initially on loan, in August 2018. Previously he had played for another French club, Valenciennes, and Belgian side Standard Liège.

He departs the Club having made 41 starts and 26 substitute appearances across the Premier League, Sky Bet Championship, and domestic cup competitions, scoring six times.
