Huddersfield Town Head Coach Carlos Corberán says Blackpool will be a difficult team to meet in the Sky Bet Championship.

Town travel to Bloomfield Road on Tuesday 14 September 2021 to continue their Sky Bet Championship campaign.

Carlos discussed what he expects to see from Blackpool.

“They’re a team that have been promoted from League One to the Championship, and so they’re a very competitive team.

“They’ve had some very good loans come in and have kept their best players that helped get them promoted.

“Their draw against Bournemouth was no coincidence and neither was their win over Fulham.

“They were consequences of a team that work very well from an offensive point of view.

“They’re a team that are going to be difficult to meet with.”

Town’s Head Coach also provided his latest team news, including an update on Danny Ward.

“Danny Ward is improving.

“He was doing work with the medical staff yesterday and the reaction of his body was a positive reaction.

“He’s going to train this afternoon and we’ll see how his body reacts to training with the group.

“If his reaction is positive, then he can be one of our options for tomorrow.

“Rolando Aarons had a stomach problem before Stoke City.

“That’s why he couldn’t train before the game.

“He was training yesterday and he’s training today, so he’s another option for selection against Blackpool.”
