THE WORTHINGTON WALK TAKES PLACE THIS SATURDAY!

14 October 2021

You can still support the walkers and two superb causes

- The Worthington Walk takes place on Saturday!
- Nearly 150 fans walking 22-miles in honour of Frank Worthington
- You can donate to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance & the Alzheimer’s Society

Huddersfield Town’s Worthington Walk – the 22-mile sponsored walk organised in honour of Frank Worthington – takes place this Saturday!

Nearly 150 supporters will take part in the walk, which is sponsored by Deliveree, to pay tribute to Frank and to raise valuable funds for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and the Alzheimer’s Society.

Upon completing the walk, which starts at Leeds United’s Elland Road in the early hours and takes in FC Halifax Town’s Shay Stadium, the participants will enjoy a lap of honour around the John Smith’s Stadium pitch before our Sky Bet Championship game against Hull City on Saturday.

If you’re coming to the game, please come down a little earlier and give them a well-deserved round of applause as they make their way around pitch side from 2.40pm!

Among those completing the walk are Frank’s brothers Bob and Dave Worthington, his daughter Kim-Malou, Huddersfield Town Chairman Phil Hodgkinson, Frank’s former Huddersfield Town teammate Les Chapman and Club Ambassador Michael Hefele!

You can still sponsor the walkers too, donating to both charities – click HERE to do so online now!
