Joining the Huddersfield Town Disabled Supporters Club at their monthly meeting, Head Coach Carlos Corberán took part in a 90-minute Q&A session with the group.

Chaired by Town Ambassador Andy Booth, discussions ranged from football and the bright form of the first team to more personal questions, with Carlos opening up about his home life, family, values and early career.

An evening enjoyed by all in attendance, the Huddersfield Town Disabled Supporters Club meet on a monthly basis at Birchencliffe Sports and Social Club where they enjoy discussions about the Club and life, with drinks and food available to purchase – with the occasional special guest also in attendance!

In the past, the HTDSC have enjoyed hosting Club Ambassador Michael Hefele – who stayed for over two hours sharing stories and jokes from his time at the Club – and Club kitman Andrew Brook, who had over 20 years of Huddersfield Town related stories to share from behind the scenes given his uniquely intimate role with the first team.

With plently of smiles and laughs throughout the night, Carlos stayed longer than scheduled to take pictures and sign shirts with the group. Reflecting on the experience, the Head Coach said:

“I really enjoyed and appreciated the opportunity to spend and evening with supporters and experience our community in person.

"It is a big part of our Club and something that makes Huddersfield Town special.

"I would like to thank the Disabled Supporters Club for their invitation and hospitality – it was a brilliant evening and something I feel proud to have been a part of”.

Club Ambassador Andy Booth added:

“These events are the highlight of my Ambassadorial role at the Club, and it’s a real pleasure to be able to visit groups like the Huddersfield Town Disabled Supporters Club with special guests and be an active part of our local community.

"I’d urge anyone who’s interested to think about joining the HTDSC and come down to those brilliant monthly meetings”.
