- Broadcast on Sky Sports via the Red Button and iFollow HTAFC

Huddersfield Town are straight back into Sky Bet Championship action this week as we make our way down south to Peterborough United’s Weston Homes Stadium on Tuesday 2 November for a 7.45pm kick-off.

Town will go into the game full of confidence after beating Millwall late on at the John Smith’s Stadium thanks to captain Jonathan Hogg’s glancing header, leaving the Club sat fifth in the Sky Bet Championship.

Peterborough United will enter the game having suffered defeat 3-0 away at the Liberty Stadium against Swansea City in their last outing, but had won both of their two matches versus QPR and Hull City previous to that 2-1.

Having been promoted from League 1 in second place behind Hull City, it’s been a tough reintroduction to life in the Sky Bet Championship for Peterborough.

Currently sat in 20th place having won just four times so far this season, their form has improved of late with two wins in their last three outings.

An unfavourable goal difference is a worry having conceded 30 times this season, but their attack is beginning to fire with Siriki Dembélé a real standout for them going forward.

Managed again by Darren Ferguson, the former Preston North End and Doncaster Rovers head coach is now in his third stint with Peterborough, having been at the Club between 2007-2009 and 2011-2015 previously.

Jonson Clarke-Harris

Having made 11 appearances this season – nine starts and two as a substitute – Clarke-Harris has contributed two goals and two assists for Peterborough so far this campaign. An important figure in their attacking build-up play, he has a good feel for the game on top of his strong finishing. Good at playing off the cuff and bringing his other forwards in to attacks, he is a player that Town should be wary of when he’s on the pitch – whether that’s from the start or off the bench.

Sammie Szmodics

An attacking midfielder with two goals to his name already this season, Szmodics has made 12 appearances for Peterborough so far this season. Including eight starts. Having joined the club after a strong season on loan from Bristol City, he is a graduate of the Colchester United academy, where he spent the first 17 years of his career progressing through the ranks before becoming an established member of their first team. A smart attacking player, he will look to play between the lines and set up the Peterborough forwards on the break.

Siriki Dembélé

Having burst in to life in the past few matches, Dembélé has flown to the top of Peterborough’s goal scoring charts having notched four for the season. With two of his four goals coming in their last three matches, he’s a man in form, with his pace and skill a real asset to Peterborough as they’ve begun to play more on the break and rely on the natural speed of their attackers. A strong carrier of the ball with a terrifically high work rate, he will be difficult to track and keep hold of, but Town will be careful to limit his involvement on the game with his threat clear for all to see.

There are no fresh injury concerns for Huddersfield after the weekend’s game against Millwall, whilst the team remain without long-term absentees Jordan Rhodes, Pipa, Alex Vallejo, Ryan Schofield and Aaron Rowe.
