- Major tournament qualification matches being played

Town First Team players Sorba Thomas, Danel Sinani, Levi Colwill and Scott High have all received call-ups from their international sides.

With some crucial qualification games coming up for all involved, it’s an important period in the international football calendar. With call-ups for Sorba Thomas (Wales), Danel Sinani (Luxembourg), Levi Colwill (England Under-19s) and Scott High (Scotland Under-21s), there will be plenty at stake for our Terriers out representing their countries.

Sorba Thomas (Wales)

Having impressed Wales manager Robert Page during his first call-up in which he earned his first two Dragons’ caps – first from the bench against the Czech Republic before starting against Estonia – the Sky Bet Championship’s top assist provider is back in the squad for their final two World Cup Qualifiers.

Facing both Belarus and Belgium at home in Wales, the Town wide man will be hoping to add to his international minutes in two pressure matches, with the Dragons still hoping to secure second place in their qualification group and take another step closer to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Danel Sinani (Luxembourg)

Having just become the first Luxembourger in history to score in the Sky Bet Championship, the Town forward will be hoping to carry that scoring touch in two his next two international matches for his country.

With a long trip to Azerbaijan up first before a game against the Republic of Ireland at home in Luxembourg, Danel will be hoping to help his country finish their qualification campaign strongly, having only won once in their past five World Cup Qualifiers.

Levi Colwill (England Under-19s)

Missing the previous England Under-21s camp due to injury, Chelsea loanee Levi has been called up by the England Under-19s this time around, taking his place in a strong squad for three big games in UEFA Under-19 Championship Qualification.

With fixtures coming up against Andorra and Switzerland at home before a trip across to Sweden bringing the period to a close, Levi will be hoping to help his country qualify for the annual tournament, which will be hosted in Slovakia this summer.

Scott High (Scotland Under-21s)

Making his debut for the Scottish Under-21s from the bench during his last call-up in a one nil home loss against Denmark, the Town Academy graduate midfielder will be hoping for better this time out at they continue their UEFA Under-21 Championship qualification campaign.

The young Scots have two fixtures scheduled during this break, facing off against both Kazakhstan and Belgium in Dundee. Having played in Town’s last two Sky Bet Championship matches, High will be hoping for more minutes four his country in their next two fixtures.
