Four Huddersfield Town players called-up during the international break

- Pipa in Spain’s squad for U21 Euros this international break
- Juninho Bacuna to help Curaçao in World Cup qualifiers
- 16-year-old Brodie Spencer called up by Northern Ireland U19s

The March international break is a big one for Pipa as he is set to take part in the U21 European Championships with Spain!

The full-back is one of four Huddersfield Town players on international duty this month and could feature in the major competition.

Pipa has earned three caps for Spain’s Under-21s so far and was part of the side that topped their qualifying group earlier this season.

They have since been put in a group with Italy, Czech Republic and Slovenia as they look to retain the title!

The Spaniards campaign kicks-off against Slovenia’s U21s on Wednesday 24 March 2021 in a game that kicks-off at 5pm UK time. Their second group game is against Italy on Saturday 27 March 2021 (8pm UK time kick-off), before finishing against Czech Republic on Tuesday 30 March 2021 (8pm UK time kick-off).

The top two teams from the group stage will then progress into the U21 Euros knockout stages, which will take place in May 2021.

Pipa is just one of 10 Sky Bet Championship players that are featuring in the U21 Euros!

Another Town man that’s due to feature during the international break is Juninho Bacuna!

Bacca currently has four caps for Curaçao and will play a vital part as they aim to qualify for the 2022 World Cup!

Their first game is against Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is on Friday 26 March 2021 and will kick-off at 12am UK time. Their second fixture is two days later against Cuba on Sunday 28 March 2021 (9pm UK time kick-off).

Young Huddersfield Town defender Brodie Spencer has received his first call-up for Northern Ireland’s Under-19s!

16-year-old Brodie has been called up by recently appointed Northern Ireland’s U19 Manager Gerard Lyttle. The pair know each other well, with Lyttle having coached Brodie as Manager of Northern Ireland’s Under-16s.

The youngster will travel to Belfast between Monday 22 March and Friday 26 March to participate in the five-day training camp.

Finally, Pat Jones had received his first call-up for Wales’ Under-18s. Unfortunately, though, the winger has had to withdraw from that squad due to injury.
