First Wales U18 call up for Town youngster Pat Jones

Young Huddersfield Town winger Pat Jones has received his first call-up for Wales’ Under-18s!
Pat has been called up by Wales U18 Head Coach - former Bristol City, Preston North End and Exeter City defender Rob Edwards - to face England Under-18s.
The youngster will travel to the FAW National Elite Training Centre in Hensol in South Wales between Thursday 25 and Monday 29 March 2021 to prepare for their match against England U18s at Leckwith Stadium in Cardiff on Monday 29 March; noon kick-off.
The 17-year-old has already been capped by up to Under-17s level by Wales. He was part of their squad that qualified for the Elite Round of the UEFA Under-17 Qualifying in October 2019.
This call-up adds to a great season for Pat so far, who made his senior Town debut against Plymouth Argyle on Saturday 9 January 2021. His Championship debut followed a week later, when he came on as a 62nd minute substitute for Rolando Aarons against Watford.
He’s also been influential across Town’s Academy, must recently scoring a brace in the Young Terriers’ Youth Alliance Cup Quarter-Final win against Walsall.
