19-year-old forward Kit Elliott is this week’s B Team In Focus player!

Elliot started the season by joining League of Ireland Premier Division side Cork City on loan in August 2020 for a further taste of men’s football. He stayed with Neale Fenn’s side until the end of their season in November 2020 and bagged a goal and an assist on his debut!

Since being back in Huddersfield, the youngster has made regular appearances for both the B Team and Under-19s, scoring six goals in 14 appearances. As with Cork City, he scored in his first game back with the Young Terriers – a 3-0 home win against Sheffield Wednesday.

Originally from London, Elliott joined the Young Terriers as an Academy scholar in 2018. Prior to joining the forward was on the books at both Chelsea and Crystal Palace. His younger brother, Ben, is still at Chelsea.

The striker, who is eligible for both England and Cameroon, signed his first professional contract at the end of November 2019, committing his future to Town until the summer of 2022.
