Huddersfield Town midfielder Jonathan Hogg was delighted the Terriers could take all three points away from the capital following the 1-0 win at Queens Park Rangers.
Juninho Bacuna’s goal was enough for Town to take all three points back to HD1 in what was the Club’s first away win of the calendar year.
Speaking as he came off the pitch, Hoggy gave his thoughts on the result.
“It’s massive. Absolutely massive,” the midfielder said.
“We spoke at the start of the week about the next two games being massive for the end of our season.
“We’ve ticked one off with a massive performance and a great clean sheet.
“To get the goal and win 1-0 is fantastic.”
Today's skipper expressed his joy with the win and has urged the Terriers to build on it at Sheffield Wednesday, who are next up at Hillsborough on Wednesday evening.
“Our record away from home hasn’t been great this year.
“It’s something we can work on and something we know as a group we need to put right and we have today.
“We need to make sure we back it up next week.”
Town’s no.6 played 90 minutes at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium on his return from a groin injury that had kept him sidelined for recent games.
Hoggy says it was great to be back out on the pitch and be able to contribute to the win.
“It’s a brilliant feeling.
“I only trained twice this week, so I thought I’d have been a bit rusty today, but I was quite happy.
“I’m shattered now but let’s recover and go again Wednesday.”
