Despite dominating the early stages, the Terriers fell behind just past the 30-minute mark. Josh Windass collected a long-ball over the top, held off Naby Sarr and drilled the ball past Ryan Schofield.
That goal didn’t deter Carlos Corberán’s side that continued to create chances and eventually found an equaliser.
Isaac Mbenza’s free-kick was met by a stretching Naby Sarr. Keiren Westwood did well to deny his effort before the rebound hit Callum Paterson and dropped into the back of the net.
Town came close to getting a winner in the final moments of the game but ended up taking a point away from Hillsborough.
