Huddersfield Town forward Fraizer Campbell says the Terriers were unlucky to only take a point from the 1-1 draw with Sheffield Wednesday but insists the team will take it and move forward.

Town had the majority of the ball and the opportunities in South Yorkshire, and despite going close to completing the turnaround late on after Callum Paterson’s own goal had cancelled out Josh Windass’ Wednesday opener to level the game, the encounter finished all-square.

Fraizer gave his instant reaction when speaking to #HTTV after the final whistle.

“Before the last two games, we set ourselves a target and we thought if we got four points, we’d be more than happy,” the striker said coming off the pitch.

“We’ve had a really hectic schedule but in the last four games we’ve really shown some grit and determination and picked up some points.

“We were unlucky today I think but you take a point and move on.”

The draw means Town are now unbeaten in the last four Sky Bet Championship matches, something Fraizer believes the Terriers can take confidence from going into the final stretch of the campaign, following the international break.

“Coming into this part of the season you want to be consistent, and you know if you can pick up points you go into games more confident.

“It’s about picking up points, we have to keep going.”

With the encounter at Hillsborough Town’s last action before that break, the Terriers have just over two weeks before the next outing at home to Brentford in early April.

Fraizer says the team are looking to use that period wisely in order to finish the season as strongly as possible.

“You can relax a little bit, not focus on a game, work on tactics and also get a bit of a rest.

“We’ll look to recuperate and be in the best position we can be for 17 days’ time.”
