Juninho Bacuna believes the wins will come if Town keep performing and battling the way they did against Cardiff City.

The Terriers drew 0-0 at the John Smith’s Stadium against the in-form Bluebirds after a performance full of fight.

When speaking after the game, Bacca gave special plaudits the backline, who battled to keep Cardiff at bay.

“I think we defended really well. The only threat from them was set pieces and long balls and I think we delt really good with it.

“Naby, Keogh, Alex, Edmonds-Green; they played fantastic at the back and they kept a clean sheet and that was the most important thing.

“Our defence was really strong. If we keep going like this and score our chances, then we will get more points; that’s what we need now.”

In the second half, Town created a number of chances and the midfielder explained what they needed to do differently in those moments.

“We had a good chance with the penalty with Sanogo. The one from Campbell. If we score those chances we can get a win here.

“It’s important to be concentrated in those moments and stay calm, especially when we defend like this against a team like Cardiff that play so many long balls and set pieces.

“We need to be more calm in front of the goal and score goals. We have to keep going like this, the points will come, and we will keep working hard and fighting on the pitch.

“I think we played really well between the lines. We kept playing our football and created them some problems in midfield and the back.

“If we keep going, creating chances, then the goals will come. I have all the trust and belief that this will work.”
