Juninho Bacuna helps his country win their latest World Cup qualifier

Huddersfield Town midfielder Juninho Bacuna featured for 45 minutes as his national team Curaçao ran out 8-0 winners against British Virgin Islands on Saturday!
Bacca featured in the first half where six of the eight goals were scored, the midfielder managed to assist one of the goals in this 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying game.
Curaçao are in Group C of the North, Central American and Caribbean section of the qualifying campaign for the tournament, which will be held in Qatar next year.
Curaçao are now at the top of their group after moving narrowly ahead of their Group C rivals Guatemala on goals scored. If Curaçao proceed to the next round of qualifiers by winning the group, they will play two more games on Saturday 12 June and Tuesday 15 June 2021 against the winner of Group D.
Bacca will hope to be back in action for Curaçao on Wednesday 9 June 2021 in a crucial fixture against Guatemala who are level on points with Bacca’s national side. It kicks off at 1am UK time.
