Highlights from Friday’s pre-season friendly against newly promoted Premier League side Norwich City are now available to watch on HTTV!
Carlos Corberan’s side showed some very encouraging signs against a top opponent, despite the 2-0 reversal at the end of the 90 minutes at the Canaries’ Lotus Training Centre.
In the end, a clinical early strike from Finland international striker Teemu Pukki, followed up late in the game by an opportunistic strike from fellow forward Adam Idah, gave the hosts the win, but the Terriers could feel aggrieved that the scoreline didn’t reflect the 90 minutes on the afternoon.
Scott High, Harry Toffolo and Josh Koroma all couldn’t take advantage of big chances to pull Town level at 1-0, and some of the approach play was very promising ahead of the new season.
At the back, Levi Colwill stepped in for the injured Naby Sarr and was among the best performers on the day.
