Huddersfield Town’s Scott High says he’s pleased with the team’s performance against Norwich City at their Lotus Training Centre on Friday afternoon.
The midfielder played the first 63 minutes of Town’s pre-season friendly, and got close to getting on the scoresheet on more than one occasion.
Speaking to #HTTV after the game, High discussed how he found the game.
“It was really good.
“I thought we gave a really good account of ourselves as a team, on a collective.
“I thought in the second half we were really good.
“We created a few chances, and I should have scored, I think Harry Toffolo should have scored as well, but we can take a lot from that game against a very good Norwich side, so very pleasing.”
The midfielder went on to explain the confidence boost the team will have taken from being able to match a Premier League side.
“Going into the first game next Sunday, I think all the confidence we can take from this game is massive.
“I think as a team we were great today.”
The friendly against Norwich concluded a week-long training camp for the First Team, and High was quick to comment on the positives of the week together.
“It’s been great this week getting to know the new lads and doing team building exercises with everyone.
“I think it’s been a really good positive week and I think we push on into the season doing this week really well.”
