Name and number printing to generate donation to a NHS charity

Town’s new away kit for the 2021/22 Sky Bet Championship season has been revealed!
The navy kit with a blue and white trim will be seen at a number of Town’s away games this season, and will be debuted at Southport on Saturday. The kit has been manufactured by Umbro, and will adorn the Utilita branding across the front and SportsBroker logo on the lower reverse.
To launch the kit, the Club invited a number of NHS staff to be photographed who have a connection to the Club. Ryan Schofield’s sister, Katie Schofield (above), a Senior Sister at Calderdale and Huddersfield Accident & Emergency Department, joined her brother, along with Head of Goalkeeping Paul Clements and his Staff Nurse sister Julie (below). Finally, Calderdale and Huddersfield Foundation Trust’s Healthcare Assistant and Student Nurse Serena Fletcher, who also stars as a midfielder for Town Women, showcased the new kit.
Looking at the details, the kit features an embroidered crest and Umbro logo, as well as each shirt having a unique number for to prove authenticity. The shorts follow the navy colour through, with white socks to finish the kit off. The reverse will use white letters and numbers to ensure legibility.
As a thank you to the NHS, every navy away shirt that has a name and number printed will generate a £5 donation to a NHS charity.
Also, as promised in March 2020 at the start of the pandemic, the Club will be inviting local NHS staff to a home game to say thank you for their work over the pandemic. More details will be announced in due course on htafc.com.

We were keen to have a hint of blue and white in our away kit and the stripe down the shirt adds a subtle nod to highlighting the NHS colours. I must thank Umbro again for their work on this, and I look forward to seeing lots of fans picking one up when we open the refurbished Stadium Store on Wednesday 28 July.”
