Huddersfield Town Academy forward Conor Falls has signed his first professional contract with the Club!

The 17-year-old has agreed a deal that will keep him at Huddersfield Town until the summer of 2023.

Conor joined the Academy from NIFL Premiership side Glentoran in the summer of 2020.

The Northern Irishman had an impressive maiden season, making 33 appearances for George Danaher’s side, whilst also making 10 appearances for Town’s Under-19 side. Not only that, but he bagged 26 goals in the process, including four against Manchester United!

The youngster also received his first Under-19 Northern Ireland call-up in June 2021. He linked up with Gerard Lyttle for a five-day training camp.

Huddersfield Town’s Academy Manager Emyr Humphreys explained:

“Conor thoroughly deserves his first professional contract.

“Since joining us, he’s shown the focus and hunger that we want from our young players.

“Scoring 26 goals in your first season with a new club is an incredible feat, but he’s stayed grounded and is always looking for ways to improve and better himself both on and off the pitch.

“Not only that, but he takes everything in his stride, such as moving over here from Northern Ireland.

“Everyone at the Club is looking forward to continuing their work with Conor and we hope he can continue to excel with us.”
