TEAM NEWS: TOWN vs WYCOMBE

13 February 2021

One change to Carlos Corberán’s starting line-up

- Huddersfield Town side named to face Wycombe Wanderers
- Head Coach Carlos Corberán makes one change
- Álex Vallejo replaces the suspended Harry Toffolo

Head Coach Carlos Corberán has made one change to the starting line-up for today’s Sky Bet Championship game against Wycombe Wanderers; 3pm kick-off at the John Smith’s Stadium.

With Harry Toffolo serving the first match of his three game suspension, Spanish midfielder Álex Vallejo returns to the team. This should see Lewis O’Brien switch to left back, as Corberán told the media at his Friday press conference.

The starting XI is otherwise unchanged from the 1-1 draw at Luton Town last weekend, although there are changes among the substitutes.

Experienced centre back Richard Stearman makes a welcome return to the match day squad, having been on the sidelines since injuring his hamstring in the 3-2 home win over Middlesbrough in late November.

The other switch sees the injured Rolando Aarons (hamstring) replaced on the bench by Aaron Rowe.

Alongside the suspended Toffolo and injured Aarons, Corberán is also without Carel Eiting (knee), Josh Koroma (hamstring), Danny Ward (calf) and Christopher Schindler. Tommy Elphick and Rarmani Edmonds-Green are back in training after their injuries but are not ready to be selected today.

Richard Keogh faces one of his former clubs today; he made three appearances on loan with the Chairboys in November and December 2005.
