Richard Keogh praised Huddersfield Town’s attitude as the Terriers came from behind to get a deserved point against Luton Town.
James Collins gave the hosts the lead after a mistake at the back, but Town fought back well and scored a well-earned equaliser midway through the second period.
When speaking after the game, the experienced defender explained how pleased he was with the point.
“We knew it was going to be a tough game, the conditions didn’t help, but our attitude was first class and we deserved it in the end.
“We looked like the team that was going to win it. I thought it was a good game between two good teams who tried to win the game.
“Buzzing we got the point; it was the least we deserved.”
Going into the break behind, Richard explained what the Terriers did to change the game.
“The Head Coach spoke about it at half-time and we tweaked a few things we thought we could work on and it paid off.
“Great ball from Bacca (Juninho Bacuna) and Naby (Sarr) was there to tap it in.”
There’s another week until Town’s next fixture and the defender believes this is a good platform now to kick-on from.
“Any game in the Championship is tough. When you’re in a group like ours in a transition it’s not always going to be easy, there will be bumps in the road.
“To get the two points now it’ll help us along the way. Wycombe on Saturday is a big game for us and hopefully we can get the win.”
