Goalkeeper to gain further senior football experience

- Giosue Bellagambi leaves Huddersfield Town on loan
- Goalkeeper joins Ebbsfleet United until 7 March 2021
- Comments from Head of Goalkeeping Paul Clements

Huddersfield Town youngster Giosue Bellagambi has joined Vanarama National League South side Ebbsfleet United on loan to gain further experience of senior football.

This is the second loan move away from Town, after his first at Ramsbottom United in November 2020.

He will be at Ebbsfleet United - currently eighth in the sixth tier of English football with 22 points from 15 games – until 7 March 2021

Huddersfield Town’s Head of Goalkeeping, Paul Clements, commented:

“Gio has really impressed in our Academy set-up and this next step is exactly what he needs to further his development.

“He impressed in his loan spell with Ramsbottom, so I have no doubt that he’ll succeed at Ebbsfleet.

“It’ll really benefit him to gain more exposure of the challenges of men’s football; I know it’ll help him continue to do well when he returns to Huddersfield.

“This step is important for him.”
