Town’s Head Coach looks ahead to the visit of Wycombe

Huddersfield Town Head Coach Carlos Corberán is expecting a tough test when his side face Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday.
Town face the Chairboys at the John Smith’s Stadium in the Sky Bet Championship this weekend looking to get back to winning ways and register a first three points of the calendar year in doing so.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference on Friday afternoon, Carlos says Saturday’s opponents will be a strong opponent and perhaps deserve more than what they’ve got from their games so far this season.
“I think I have to analyse the games that they’ve played and not look at the results,” he said.
“They are a team that start games really well, I think it’s a team that always create chances, they have a clear style.
“Every ball for the 'keeper is going to be near our box so there will always be chances.
“It will be a very tough game and I think we are going to have to work to impose our style.”
Ahead of the game, Town’s Head Coach also spoke about the determination within the Terriers’ camp to build on the two draws in the last two games and get that first win of 2021 on Saturday.
“We are continuously thinking of how to change the dynamic and how to recover in the best way to face the games.
“We need to be aware of our position in the league but also remain focused on our targets and only think about what we can control.”
