Town’s Head Coach reviews win over Swansea

Huddersfield Town Head Coach Carlos Corberán says he’s happy for the supporters following the 4-1 win over Swansea City.
Speaking after the win, the Spaniard said it was important to produce a result like that after a difficult period in recent weeks.
“We wanted to have a result like that,” he said.
“As a Head Coach, what I want is to have wins like this and to make our fans happy.
“It’s important to give these results to the fans especially after the moment we were having.”
When reviewing the game, Town’s Head Coach gave his thoughts on the Terriers’ performance and was particularly impressed with the second-half showing.
“I think in the first half, the team started the game well. We started to control the game and play with personality in the offensive half.
“Today, to try to stop Swansea, you need to have the ball because with the ball they are a very dangerous team.
“It was important for us to add passes in the offensive half, to find players between the lines and on the sides and try to manage the game.
“We did this in the first half but didn’t manage the last minutes of it well.
“But it was important to change the dynamic in the second half and we played with courage.
“I think the team did the same things we did in the first half with a lot of determination and that’s why we could make the difference in the result.”
Looking ahead, Carlos says the Terriers can take a lot of learning from the victory at the John Smith’s Stadium.
“I think everyone wanted to get the result and it’s important when you are working very hard to get the results.
“I think in this competition this team will have the option to win against any opponent.
“For me, we will always respect our opponents, but we need to adapt our minds so that we can compete in the way that we can compete.”
