Huddersfield Town Head Coach Carlos Corberán believed it was a fair point at Kenilworth Road as the Terriers drew 1-1 with Luton Town.
Corberán’s side came from behind the claim a point – a second consecutive draw in the Sky Bet Championship.
After the game, Town’s Head Coach provided his thoughts on the performance.
“It was a fair result because both teams had good moments in the game. For both teams it was difficult to unbalance the game in the favour of the team.
“If we analyse the game more in detail, I think they had control in the first two or three minutes from set pieces and long balls.
“After these first minutes, we started to take the control of the game, create some good chances and attack better down the left side. We had the feeling we were controlling the game and were in the right way to win it.
“We made one mistake, in this condition of the pitch and circumstances we need to avoid it; that’s losing the ball in the middle of the pitch. In this mistake we suffer the high level of the consequence that is the goal.
“The goal affected us a little bit in terms of finding a way to attack. During the first half we didn’t find a clear advantage. The advantage of today was to play far instead of playing close because of the condition of the pitch.
“I think in the second half, the team showed a good spirit. We reacted and we came back to recover the feeling from the first 10 minutes of the game, then the team started to create the chances that allowed us to feel that we could score a goal. Sometimes even having the feeling it isn’t easy to score.
“We scored and we continued trying to go for the game. We had some options to get the second goal, but at the same time, they did too in the counter-attack and from set pieces.
“At the end, we need to accept it was a fair result.”
