Town will face Burnley FC at Turf Moor in the Third Round of the Emirates FA Cup in January 2022.
Making the short trip across the Pennines to get our 2021/22 FA Cup campaign under way, Town will face Premier League side Burnley in the Third Round of the Emirates FA Cup.
100 years on from our FA Cup triumph in 1922, Town will get another Cup campaign going in January 2022 against Burnley FC, with the draw for the Third Round of the Emirates FA Cup having taken place this evening.
Televised live on ITV4 before the final game of the Second Round between Boreham Wood and St Albans City, presenter Seema Jaswal oversaw proceedings, which saw FA Cup winners and England international’s Faye White and David Seaman make Town’s draw.
With all Third Round ties due to be played between 7 and 10 January 2022, this is a special year for Town and the FA Cup as it marks the centenary of the Club’s only Cup triumph to date. With our 2021/22 home kit dedicated to that famous date in the Club’s history, Town beat Preston North End 1-0 at Stamford Bridge thanks to a Billy Smith penalty.
