Carlos Corberán makes six changes for Carabao Cup game

- Huddersfield Town side named to face Everton
- Carlos Corberán makes six changes to the Sheff Utd side
- Danel Sinani makes his first start for the Club

Huddersfield Town Head Coach Carlos Corberán has made six changes to the starting line-up for tonight’s Carabao Cup Second Round game against Everton; 7.45pm kick-off at the John Smith’s Stadium.

One of those changes sees Norwich City loanee Danel Sinani handed a first competitive start for the Club, on the back of two substitute appearances.

There’s also a first start of the season for Fraizer Campbell, who leads the line after his impact as a substitute in the weekend win at Bramall Lane.

Tom Lees also gets a second Town start following his recent arrival, whilst Álex Vallejo, Duane Holmes and Harry Toffolo also start; the latter captaining the side tonight.

Lewis O’Brien, Josh Koroma, Ollie Turton and Levi Colwill are substitutes this evening, whilst Danny Ward misses out with a sore knee. Club Captain Jonathan Hogg is given a rest tonight.

There’s a first appearance in Town’s match day squad for B Team midfielder Jon Russell tonight. The 20-year-old joined the Club from Chelsea during the summer window and already has 31 senior appearances under his belt, largely from a loan spell in League 1 with Accrington Stanley last season.

Corberán is without the services of Pipa (hip), Jordan Rhodes (back), Josh Ruffels (recovering from COVID) and Aaron Rowe (toe).
