New associate partner to provide match day food options
- Huddersfield Town partner up with Deliveree
- Food delivery company to offer exciting catering options
- Five options to choose from on Saturday 14 August 2021
Deliveree is partnering up with Huddersfield Town to offer an exciting array of street food on match days at The John Smith’s Stadium.
Deliveree, a Huddersfield-based food delivery company, have joined forces with the Terriers to enhance the match day experience for Town fans.
With some of the region’s best-loved takeaways and cafes signing up to be part of the project, the options available to fans will vary from game to game. With the vendors always handpicked by Deliveree, there will be plenty of opportunities to discover your new favourite takeaway.
The first edition of this exciting new street food concept will take place on Saturday 14 August before the Huddersfield Town vs Fulham match and will feature five of Deliveree’s most popular restaurant partners.
Ashby’s Chicken Shack will be serving up perfectly crispy and golden fried chicken, burgers and fries. Recently visited by the hugely popular food guru Rate My Takeaway, who described it as ‘the best chicken in Huddersfield’, it’s not to be missed so make sure to come along and try it.
Also on the menu is Elliot’s, a craft pizza and grill restaurant based in Halifax. With a decadent menu boasting the likes of chorizo cheeseburgers, mozzarella garlic bread and plenty of pizzas, there’s something that everyone will love - including veggie and vegan options.
TJ Thai and Japanese will be bringing its popular combination of Asian cuisines to the stadium as well. Using only the freshest and most fragrant ingredients, fans will be able to tuck into their favourite authentic Thai and Japanese dishes such as ramen, tempura and curries.
Or, lovers of Korean street food will be glad to know that Super Bao will also be there serving up deliciously fluffy bao buns with mouth-watering fillings such as pulled pork, jackfruit and hoisin brisket.
For those who are after something sweet, Halifax favourites Sweet Tooth will be bringing freshly baked donuts, waffles and crepes - not forgetting warm slabs of cookie dough and deliciously rich ice cream milkshakes too.
You don’t even need to be attending the game to take advantage of the great food - the street food zone will be hosted outside of the stadium at the north end, near the entrance from the roundabout, from noon, so anybody can come and try out some delicious food and take in the pre-match atmosphere.
What makes Deliveree so unique is that it only works with quality local restaurants and sellers.
You won’t find any chain restaurants on the app - only the best-loved independent places where freshness and quality are always guaranteed.
