Huddersfield Town Academy midfielder Ernaldo Krasniqi has today completed a loan move to Falkirk FC!
Ernaldo, a player from the Club’s Under-19 group, has moved north of the border until January 2022.
Predominantly a holding midfield player, the 6’ 5” tall 18-year-old can also be deployed at centre back.
He joined the Town Academy in the summer of 2019 from London’s Crown Pro Elite Academy and has been a regular for the Club’s Academy sides ever since. He signed his first professional contract with the Club in July, which runs until the summer of 2022 with a Club option year.
Krasniqi hails from London but has already been capped by Albania at Under-19 level through his heritage.
Led by Head Coach Paul Sheerin, Falkirk play in cinch League 1; the third tier of Scottish football. One of Ernaldo’s new teammates is former Town left back Paul Dixon!

Huddersfield Town Academy Manager Emyr Humphreys commented:
“This is a fantastic opportunity for Ernaldo to go and gain a completely new experience on and off the pitch, and I would like to thank Falkirk and our Loan Manager David Fox for completing this deal.
“Ernaldo has some superb attributes – he’s got a fantastic passing range, he reads games well and is a real asset in both boxes – but his challenge now is to showcase those in a senior league for a team that has real aspirations of success.
“I can’t wait to see how Ernaldo fares, and we wish him the best of luck.”
