Goalkeeper to gain further senior experience

- B Team goalkeeper Giosue Bellagambi heads out on loan
- 19-year-old ‘keeper joins Stalybridge Celtic
- Comments from Head of Goalkeeping Paul Clements

Huddersfield Town B Team goalkeeper Giosue Bellagambi has today joined Stalybridge Celtic on a 28-day loan.

This is the third loan move away from Town for Gio, following spells at Ramsbottom United and Ebbsfleet United.

The ‘keeper will link up with Simon Haworth’s side, who play in the Northern Premier League Premier Division – the seventh tier of English football.

The Celts currently sit 15th in the table with three points.

Huddersfield Town’s Head of Goalkeeping, Paul Clements, commented:

“Gio did really well on his two loan spells last season, one of which was unfortunately cut short because of COVID-19.

“He fractured his finger in pre-season, which saw him miss a lot of game time.

“Now he’s back fully fit, this is the perfect opportunity for him to go and catch up on the minutes that he’s missed out on.

“This is key for him ahead of the rest of the 2021/22 season.”
