‘The Terrier’, Huddersfield Town’s match day programme, is returning in physical form for the 2021/22 season – and it’s completely free to supporters!
After halting physical production upon the onset of the pandemic, we’re bringing programmes back in a new form, starting with Saturday’s Sky Bet Championship game against Fulham on Saturday.
The 2021/22 editions will be free for Town supporters, which has been made possible through the support of advertisers.
The 28-page programme will include Head Coach Carlos Corberán and Chairman Phil Hodgkinson’s first set of notes for the new season.
It will also give you the lowdown on Saturday’s opponents Fulham, who return to the Sky Bet Championship after a season in the Premier League.
10,000 copies will be available at Saturday’s game on a first come, first served basis from the following points:
- Core Stand – as you pass through the Turnstiles
- Fantastic Media Stand - as you pass through the Turnstiles
- Chadwick Lawrence Stand North entrance – between the turnstiles and the Stand
- Chadwick Lawrence Stand South entrance – at the bottom of the stairs
- Magic Rock Brewing Stand Home Area – as you pass through the Turnstiles
- Magic Rock Brewing Stand Away Area – as you pass through the Turnstiles
FanKlappers will also be available from these points!
A limited number of programmes will be available online from shop.htafc.com after the conclusion of the match, although please note that you will be charged for postage.
We’ll also be bringing you a new-look bi-monthly Huddersfield Town magazine, which will be sold through our shop and online. The first edition of this is scheduled for September, and we’ll have more details for you in due course.
Huddersfield Town’s Marketing & Communications Director David Threlfall-Sykes explained:
“We can’t wait for supporters to return to the John Smith’s Stadium this weekend and we realise that for many fans, having a physical match day programme is a big part of the match day experience.
“Equally, across the divisions, sales of match day programmes are falling. We are no exception, so we have looked at a different way of providing programmes to supporters.
“Thanks to the fantastic support of partner businesses, we are able to offer a free match day programme to 10,000 supporters this weekend. There are more adverts in this edition than previously, but we’ve also kept a good balance to provide fans with important content too.
“We’ll constantly review what is in there match-by-match, but we hope Town fans enjoy the first edition this weekend!
“To enhance our print offering, the new bi-monthly magazine will be a much more in-depth read. Hopefully, between the two, it’ll give people plenty to read over the course of the season.”
