Carlos Corberán provided the latest Huddersfield Town team news ahead of Saturday’s game against Coventry City in the Sky Bet Championship.

The Sky Blues are the final visitors to the John Smith’s Stadium this season, in the Terriers’ penultimate game of the campaign.

Ahead of the match, Carlos spoke with the media and provided the latest squad update, which included information on the availability of Álex Vallejo, Isaac Mbenza and Fraizer Campbell.

Álex has been out since suffering a head injury against Brentford at the start of the month while Isaac and Fraizer have been forced off early with injuries in games more recently against Bournemouth and Blackburn respectively.

“We still need to wait for training tomorrow. Álex trained yesterday but couldn’t today because of the number of the training sessions he’s allowed to do," said Carlos during Thursday's press conference.

“Isaac is the same. He trained yesterday but not today because we need to manage the sessions.

“Fraizer didn’t train, and I don’t expect to have him.”

Since that last outing at Blackburn, the Terriers have developed no new injury concerns, but Town’s Head Coach also had an update on full-backs Pipa and Harry Toffolo who have had their game-time managed in recent weeks due to certain injury issues.

“Both are in a similar situation; we know they are now managing a problem.

“They are making some training sessions in the last few days, we now need to see how they react tomorrow (Friday) to see if they can play the game.”
