Koroma starts in one of three changes
- Huddersfield Town side named to face Barnsley
- Head Coach Carlos Corberán makes three changes to the side
- Josh Koroma makes his first start of 2021 after injury
Josh Koroma makes his first appearance of 2021 as one of three changes to the Town line-up for tonight’s Sky Bet Championship game against Barnsley; 7.45pm kick-off at the John Smith’s Stadium.
Koroma was an unused substitute for the win at Nottingham Forest on Saturday following his recovery from the hamstring injury sustained against Sheffield Wednesday in early December, and he’s back in the side tonight. Prior to his injury, Josh had scored five goals in his last eight appearances.
Yaya Sanogo has also recovered from the deep cut to his foot sustained in the 0-0 home draw with Rotherham United, so he returns to the line-up tonight.
The third and final inclusion sees Rarmani Edmonds-Green back in the side.
Fraizer Campbell is ruled out with the shoulder injury he sustained at the City Ground at the weekend, whilst Corberán takes no chances with full backs Pipa and Harry Toffolo. Both miss out as precautions having returned from injury to help Town win 2-0 at the weekend.
There are a couple of welcome returns among the substitutes tonight also. Ajax loanee Carel Eiting returns to the match day squad for the first time since 2 January having recovered from knee surgery, whilst Demeaco Duhaney also returns after a three game absence with a thigh problem.
