Head Coach Carlos Corberán says Rolando Aarons, Carel Eiting and Josh Koroma could make their respective returns to the pitch during Huddersfield Town’s game against AFC Bournemouth on Tuesday.

The trio have all had spells on the sidelines over recent months due to injuries but could feature against the Cherries in the Sky Bet Championship encounter at the John Smith's Stadium.

Aarons was an unused substitute in the Terriers’ draw with Rotherham United on Saturday while Eiting and Koroma have both recently begun to train with the squad again, with the trio potentially in line for some form of return on Tuesday according to the Spaniard.

“Josh Koroma and Carel Eiting today trained with the group and they're an option but we know they have had limited minutes,” Carlos explained during his pre-match press conference on Monday afternoon.

“Rolando Aarons is in a better position (to play) because he has done a week more."

While providing the latest team news, Carlos also provided an update on Harry Toffolo’s recovery in saying that the full-back is yet to return to team training, as well as detailing the latest news on Álex Vallejo who has missed the Terriers’ last two matches with a head injury.

“We still have a doubt over Álex Vallejo,” he said.

“We need to see how he reacts to the work he's been doing. He's the only player we have as a question mark.”

Speaking ahead of Tuesday’s game, Carlos gave his thoughts on Town’s next opponents who currently occupy a play-off spot going into the final few weeks of the campaign.

The Cherries also ran out 5-0 winners in the reverse fixture at the Vitality Stadium in December, a game that Town’s Head Coach says is a first-hand example of the strong side that Bournemouth are.

“No doubt, it was one of the biggest defeats (of our season).

“It says about the quality of this team, it’s a team that were in the Premier League last year.

“They arrive to the game in a good dynamic and it’s going to be a challenging game for us.

“To compete and win a game like that, we need to compete with our best levels in both defence and in attack," he added.

“I would like us to continue being brave when we have the ball. We need to manage the moments in defence, and I want to see all the skills from the players I have.

“We know we have the skills to compete in these kinds of games.”
